Bob Von Hagen

Bob has been in the construction industry most of his life. He started working for an HVAC company during the summers while in high school. Along the way he went to college, worked in high rise construction, got a refrigeration license while working at a Westchester County ice rink and even drove a Zamboni. After commuting to NYC as Union steamfitter and starting a family Bob and his wife Connie felt it was time to find work closer to home. Bob found a home at Flynn Brothers Heating and Cooling and has been here since 1988. In May of 1998 Bob was given the opportunity to purchase the company from its founder Bill Flynn and the company’s name changed to Flynn Aire. Bob along with his partner Bob Hansen continue to carry on a tradition of high quality installations and prompt and courteous service. Bob holds many licenses throughout Long Island and sits on the Town of Huntington Plumbing Board. As an active owner Bob is available on a daily basis, supervising jobs, giving estimates and ensuring our valued customer’s are treated as if they are part of his family.

Bob Hansen

Robert Hansen was born and raised in Kings Park. He and his 3 siblings attended school through the Kings Park school district. During high school, Bobby worked weekends at Eddie Reddy’s Deli and would often contemplate what he would do for a permanent career. After 4 years of working at the deli, his brother Harry asked him if he wanted to take a job offering at Flynn Brothers Heating & Air Conditioning. He started working there in 1987. After starting this new career things fell into place. Shortly after, because of his hard work, he was able to purchase his first home in 1993. Bobby and his co-worker, Bob Von Hagen, purchased Flynn Aire in 1998. When Bobby was only 31 he became a co-owner. Since then, he’s had a home built for his family. He still resides in Kings Park and has 3 children; Paige, Robert & Shaun. He is an active community member and is very generous with supporting local organizations.
